Easyprox from Paxton Access and Q Technical Services

Easyprox Compact - A complete access control system in a door handle

No mains power, no separate reader, no locking hardware required

Battery powered, 5 year life under normal conditions
Innovative low power technology to allow 30,000 operations
The same easy to manage token packs as our standalone range

Easyprox compact is an all-in-one battery powered lock and access control system that’s ideal for internal doors. Installing the system is simple because it’s not wired into a mains power source.
This lowers installation costs and increases the number of doors that can be fitted in a day!
The battery life of Easyprox compact is huge; 5 years based on 30,000 operations.
This is due to the system’s energy saving PIR detector; batteries are only engaged when vertical movements are sensed. The system has a low battery warning. In the event that the batteries should run flat, power can be supplied through the external battery contacts.

Each unit is fitted with a tubular mortice latch and is surface mounted.
This removes the need for specialist tools and reduces installation time.
The lock mechanism is fitted with an anti-shim plunger to prevent entry using credit cards.
Easyprox compact uses standalone tokens that are compatible with Paxton Access’ other systems.
Introducing it to new and existing access controlled sites is therefore a convenient and economical solution.
The list of applications for Easyprox compact is endless: office, industrial units, halls of residence, store rooms, classrooms, dormitories, sports clubs, residential care homes, hospitals and more.

Long Range Reader from Paxton Access and Q Technical Services

The Long Range Reader

Does the scene below look familiar?

The Long range reader has been designed specifically for use at car park access points. It’s amazing read range of up to 5 metres means that a hands free token can be read from within a vehicle; a convenient feature especially at busy periods of the day.

Housed in a robust casing with an integrated hands free interface the reader’s back plate and innovative
design makes it quite easy to install. The Long range reader’s impressive range negates the need to dig trenches in order to lay ground loops. Consequently installation time, on-site disturbance and labour costs are all greatly reduced; giving you a cost saving situation.

Whereas other systems require a dedicated reader for cars and another for lorries, the Long range reader will accommodate vehicles of different sizes. This means that only a single reader need be installed at each car park barrier; a further cost saving situation.

The Long range reader also works as a close proximity reader so that users without hands free tokens can use it. Code Description Retail Price

The reader can also be used in factories and warehouses to streamline the movement of stock.
When used with automatic door openers staff operating forklift and pallet trucks no longer need to present their tokens at access points.
Although conceived for perimeter access points the reader’s long read range makes it a practical solution for many other applications.
The reader can help all sites conform to strict DDA regulations by removing the need for users to physically
present tokens.

While passive the reader’s central light is red. When a valid token is detected the light fl ashes green and the associated barriers open. If a user’s token is not valid the light flashes red and the barrier/door remain closed.
