Here at Q Technical we provide design, installations and maintenance of emergency lighting systems fully compliant to BS5266 for various clients, ranging from the smallest of retail shops to the most complex of multi tenants office blocks,  industrial units  and retail outlets.

In the event of an emergency, like a fire, smoke or a power failure, emergency lights play a critical part in supporting safe and effective evacuation procedures.

Loss of life can be a disastrous consequence of failed or poorly maintained emergency lighting systems and, at the very least, businesses are required to check their lighting every month to meet their legal obligations. This can be carried out by a sufficiently trained member of staff.

In addition to a monthly inspection, an Emergency Lighting Test must also be carried out annually by a ‘competent’ person – and that’s where we come in.

We carry out a full assessment on your emergency lighting system and provide you with all documentation proving that your system is fully services and tested and meets regulations and fire safety regulations.
